21-year-old Nigerian footballer Christantus Uche has achieved the unthinkable in Spanish Laliga.
Just two years ago, Uche was playing amateur football in Nigeria, but his journey has taken him from the fifth tier of Spanish football to the prestigious La Liga.
Uche’s remarkable ascent began in 2022 when he joined Spanish fifth-tier side Moralo CP. After an impressive season, he made the leap to third-tier AD Cueta for a mere €800.
His outstanding performances caught the attention of top-tier clubs, and last month, he signed with Getafe in a deal worth around €500,000.
Last night, Uche etched his name into the history books by scoring on his La Liga debut.
