The Gynamstic Federation of Nigeria, GFN will hold it first clubs and Association Super Championship in Benin City, Edo State from August 2nd – 7th, 2022.
The six day Super Championship is billed for the Gynamstic Hall, Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium.
According to a schedule made available to reporters in Abuja by the Federation secretary, Mr Davies Oludare showed that the Super Championship will feature events in Artistic and Aerobics for both men and women.
The championship age limit are in three categories: (level 1-3 MAG/WAG (EG), Age Group Competition (SJ) : MAG under 16 and WAG under 15 and SS MAG 16 and above and WAG 15 and above, the schedule indicated.
The Championship will begin with arrival of participating Clubs, Association and Officials on 2nd of August which will immediately followed by meetings and press.
While on 3rd which is day 2 will witness conference and podium training with day 3-5 for the championship proper were medals and trophies will be won and departure billed for day 6 (7th August, 2022).
The Super Championship will serve as selection/formation of national team for age group team and senior team for the disciplines and FIG data base registration for coaches to enable them participate in International and Continental Games and Championship and Coaches Academy.
It will also serve as qualification for the International Gymnastics Club Championship in Cairo, Egypt later this year.
