Ghana Football Association (GFA) have sacked Milovan Rajevac as coach of the Ghanian National team following their embarrassing first round exit from the Totalenergies African cup of Nations in Cameroon, Owosports.com.ng reports.
The four time African Champions who were looking to end a 40 years AFCON trophy drought, suffered a humiliating 3-2 defeat in the hands of debutants Comoros Island in Garoua.
The defeat, confirmed their exit as they ended the competition with just one point after a 1-0 loss to Morocco and a 1-1 draw against Gabon in their first two games.
According to reports from Ghanian Journalist @SaddickAdams who announced the development
on Twitter,the Serbian has also rejected Three months payment from GFA in lieu of his early sacking.
He added that the FA will appoint an interim coach for their upcoming World Cup qualifying playoff.
