Alsancsk Yesilova FC of Cyprus prolific striker Chigozie Emmanuel Mbah told OwoSports.com that he’s delighted with his goal scoring form so far this season.
The prolific goal machine has netted six goals in Nine appearances this Season.
Speaking in an exclusive interview from his base in Cyprus, Mbah expressed his joy in the scoring goals for fun and would want to continue with the superlative form.
“Am so happy to have score six goals in Nine games so far, I want the goal scoring form continue in other to help my club achieve great thing.
” I have played in three different positions this season. I have played on both wings and as a top striker which am really enjoying”.
The 22 years also expressed his disappointment for not playing any competitive game for any club last season because of visa issues, “I wasn’t happy all through last season due to non involvement in league games, I had visa issues in Nigeria and I couldn’t travel but everything is fine now. Fidelis Iria a midfielder and Presley Essossa are the two Nigerians who really help me in this team. Am glad playing alongside the two great players”.
When ask about his chances of playing for Nigeria, the energetic player said he would prefer to start with the under 23 national team as it will be a stepping stone to the Super Eagles and to a great future. ” playing for the under 23 national team will be great stepping stone to the Super Eagles and to a great future.
” I believe my performance will speak for me when the time come, but I have no intention of playing for a another country apart from Nigeria”, he concluded.
