Football action continued Tuesday at the ongoing Sea Never Dry grassroots competition with El Cadis International securing a slim one nil victory over Cele in the first game played, as well as 36 Lions losing by the same scoreline to S.G.L in the the second fixture of the day, reports OwoSports.

El Cadis International picked up all 3points no thanks to Onaz’s brilliance, as his superb freekick at the edge of 18yard box found his opponents net, thus sending his teammates to a frenzy at the Supreme Distilleries football field in Iju Ota.In the second game of the day, 36 Lions despite being the better team could not find the back of the net as they fell to a shocking one goal defeat, after Odunbaku Adewale’s headed S.G.L into the lead 10 minutes away from time following a perfect delivery from Jimoh Jamiu.

This defeat meant 36 Lions are left with 3point after two rounds of games, after their 2-1 opening day victory over Hope. They will look to pick up the maximum point against Energy on Sunday.

Action resumes on Wednesday at the Supreme Distilleries football field as SND will be slugging it out against Future Soccer in what seems to be an interesting fixture on the day, 4pm is kickoff time.
