Chairman and CEO, C&S FP Sports Academy, Olajide Ojomu, PhD, has stated that the academy the academy is in the process of starting Handball mini league in Kwara State, stating that Sports Writers Association of Nigeria, SWAN, Kwara Chapter will be major partner in the tournament.
Ojomu is a retired ex professional handballer based in US but currently running sports program in Nigeria.
Ojomu made this declaration at a one day training program on Hand Ball rules and ethics organized specifically for sports writers in Ilorin.
“We intend to grow handball as a sport in Kwara and across the country and we partnering, strongly, SWAN in this project,” he said.
C&S FP Sports Academy says that it intends to grow other sports like Athletics.
“We will definitely go into soccer but it will be for women soccer,” he said.
The academy recently returned from Sweden where it participated in Handball tournament.
