Herve Renard’s Next Destination: Africa?

Herve Renard, the head coach of the French women’s national team, has revealed that he will be leaving his position after the 2024 Olympic Games.

Renard took over the team in March, succeeding Corinne Diacre, and his departure has sparked speculation about his next move.

According to reports from Nigeria, the Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) is interested in appointing Renard as the next coach of the Super Eagles. With his impressive track record in African football, including leading Zambia and Ivory Coast to Africa Cup of Nations titles in 2012 and 2015, Renard would be a significant addition to the Super Eagles.

While Renard’s departure from the French women’s national team is confirmed, his potential move to the Super Eagles is yet to be officially announced.
