House of Prayer Football Academy is determined to break into the international football market in order to create opportunities for its players.
Speaking to journalists following the team’s 2-1 victory over Skillz FC in the matchday four game of the Pro Route League on Sunday, The club’s Director of Football, Taiwo Olowe says the football outfit is on course for a glorious future.
While noting that the team is also currently undergoing restructuring, Olowe expressed optimism that the Academy is poised to groom marketable players that will be attractive to top clubs across the world.
“One of the things we identified is the need to restructure and reorganize our team in such a way that it will be attractive at the international stage. We understand there is a gap and we have put our house in order so that we will be able to build and groom the kind of players that are marketable to the world.
Olowe added the Academy is also working tirelessly to build a network of football agencies that will facilitate players’ movement from the team to top clubs.
Stressing that the club, which is deeply rooted in sports evangelism is leveraging the platform to empower youths and also give them a pathway to success,adding that the recruitment of players is also based on merit.

However, in furtherance to its bid to raise the image of the team and increase its value, House of Prayer FA are expected to participate in the 2024/2025 Nationwide League One(NLO) Division One league. NLO is the third division and the largest league in Nigeria with over 200 teams participating in it
