Spanish Segunda B side Huesca is willing to allow Super Eagles midfielder Kelechi Nwakali leave for free in the summer according to report from brila.net, www.owosports.com.ng gathered.

The Chile 2015 FIFA U17 Worldcup winning captain has less than seven months on his current deal with the Spanish Club and there has been no talks, regarding an extension.

According to reports, Huesca isn’t impressed with the attitude of the midfielder and are reportedly unwilling to keep him beyond the expiration of his current contract.

The former Arsenal midfielder is currently suspended by the club for 10 days, after returning late from African Cup of Nations duty with the Super Eagles, the suspension also means the midfielder is not entitled to a pay for the duration of the suspension.

Nwakali made three appearance for Nigeria at the Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon where they crashed out in the round of 16.

The suspension is a huge setback for Nwakali who is hoping for a place in Super Eagles squad for next month’s FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Ghana.

Nwakali was close to joining another Segunda Division club Burgos FC in January but the deal broke down in the last minute.

He has made 33 appearances for Huesca since joining the club.
