Super Eagles midfielder, Alexander Chuka Iwobi became the latest Nigerian player to have made 200 appearances in the English Premier League.
The Nigeria born midfielder who has been living in England since age four made his Premier League debut at Arsenal on the 31st of October 2015, coming on as a stoppage-time substitute for Mesut Ozil.
The 26 years old made 100 Premier League Appearances altogether for Arsenal before leaving for Everton in 2019 for £34 million.
He made a further 100 appearances in Everton’s Jersey and his 200th Premier League appearance came in Everton’s impressive draw against Manchester City.
The Everton midfielder entered illustrious names of Super Eagles players like Nwankwo Kanu, John Mikel Obi, Vicor Moses, Joseph Yobo, and Yakubu Aiyegbeni to have reached that landmark.
