Super Eagles striker Josh Maja excited after making a return to Fulham seven years after he left the club to join Manchester City, before joining league one side Sunderland, OwoSports.com.ng reports.
Fulham completed a loan signing of the 22-year-old Nigerian international from Ligue Une side Bordeaux until the end of the season with an option to buy for £9m, the striker arrived the French side in January 2019 after scoring 16 goals in league for Sunderland.
Maja said he is “excited and proud” to return to Fulham, seven years after leaving the club’s academy to join Manchester City’s youth set-up.
“This is a big opportunity and I look forward to meeting up with the team and working hard to achieve positive results,” he told the club’s website.
The striker will link up with Ademola Lookman, Ola Aina, Tosin Adarabioyo who are in the Fulham setup.
