Following the successes recorded in the 2nd edition of the NLO/Berackiah Coaching Clinic which was geared towards capacity building of coaches, the second batch of the programme is to kickoff in Kwara, Kano and Plateau State on February 22nd and March 1st respectively.

The first batch of the five-day Coaching Clinic will come to a close on Saturday February 19 at five (5) centres, Lagos, Otukpo, Birini Kebbi, Akwa and Uyo.

In a correspondence from NLO media department to clubs and grassroot teams in Kwara, Kano and Plateau State, the Secretariat of the nation’s third-tier league informed, that the clinic is mandatory to all coaches as the essence of the NLO/Berackiah Coaching Clinic is to facilitate knowledge for our local coaches and to develop the quality of the league.

The catchment area for Kano, will see coaches from Kaduna, Jigawa and Katsina converge in the Pyramid State for the five day event.

Kwara will host coaches from Osun, Kogi, Ekiti, Ondo and Niger State while coaches from Bauchi, FCT and Gombe State will be lectured on the new trends in football by Instructors billed for Plateau State.

Recall in 2021, the NLO signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Berackiah Grassroots Coaching Clinic to help develop the skills of its league coaches which in turn would assure the broad development of the game as well as the talents spread across the nation.

All coaches of the NLO teams are expected to pay a sum of Thirty Thousand Naira (#30,000) as a registration fee, to the official United Bank Africa (1023560030 UBA) account of the clinic.
