    Kano Pillars got their first win of the second phase of the Ardova Handball Premier League 2023 as they defeated Benue Buffaloes in the men category on Friday.

    The defending champion, who has had a torrid time this season, came back to winning ways as they comfortably beat Benue Buffaloes 33-24 while Tojemarine Academy of Lagos continued in their good form as they defeated Correction Boys 29-22.

    Seasider Boys of Lagos struggled to defeat Confluence Stars 24-22 while Safety Shooters eased past Police Machine 29-19.

    League leader, Niger United ruthlessly beat Bendel Dynamos 36-17 while D. Defenders got a vital 25-22 victory over Rima Strikers.

    In the female category, defending champion Safety Babes are still unbeaten this season as they defeated Seasider Babes of Lagos 36-24 while Plateau Peacocks defeated Defender Babes 21-20.

    Bendel Dynamos beat Bayelsa Queens 30-24 while Rima Queens had the highest win of match day 3 as they earned a comfortable 42-28 victory over Benue Queens.

    Delta Queens shocked Imo Grasshoppers with a 29-26 victory.
