The Technical Adviser of Kogi United FC of Lokoja,Coach Folabi Ojekunle has received an official car from the management of the club .
The Official car, which was jointly presented by the Executive Chairman of Lokoja Local government Alhaji Muhammed Danasebe Muhammed and the Chairman of the club Honourable Abdulmalik Isah was done at the Confluence Stadium
According to a statement from the club, the move was initiated to ease the movement of the Technical Adviser to and fro training and within Lokoja metropolis.
Honourable Abdulmalik Isah said the gesture was in fulfilment of the promise earlier made to the Technical Adviser by the club to aid his work.
“This is the first time since the inception of this club that a technical adviser is getting an official car as promised by management. We will make sure that everything he needs to aid his work is provided”
Hon.Isah said.
Responding, Coach Folley thanked and appreciated the Management of the Club and the Kogi state government for ensuring that his work is made easy since his arrival at the Club.He promised to work hard to justify the Management’s confidence and trust in him.
The presentation was done on Wednesday afternoon during the opening game of the Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) between host Confluence Queens and Pelican stars of Calabar.
The match which was witnessed by top government functionaries saw the host clinching their first victory of the season with a 4-0 win over the visitors from Calabar.
