Kwara FA Commends Gov Abdulrahman, Praises United

The Leadership of the Kwara state football association has extoll the Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrasaq led government for it’s committments to football development in the state.

Following the conclusion of the Nigeria Professional Football League season where the state darling team Kwara United finished in an impressive third position, the FA term the feat as a true reflection of the state government investment in football.

According to the information made available through Bolaji Lawal, who noted Chairman of the Association, Malam Idris Musa Abdullahi described the development as a result of tenacious teamwork from stakeholders which was made possible with the leadership of Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrasaq and his Deputy Elder Kayode Alabi.

The first Democratically elected FA Boss in Kwara, urges the government for continuous intervention through increment in subvention, acquiring of new bus and official vehicles to ensure no stone is left unturned in creating a lasting legacy.

Malam Musa, while congratulating and praising the Enitre Management and Technical team of the Club led by Kumbi Titiloye, Bashir Badawir, Coach Abdullahi Biffo, the players and others for working asidously to meet the demands of Football loving Kwarans, assured that the FA will continue to monitor situation of things in regards to development from the League Management Company and the Nigeria Professional Football League.

Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrasaq and Kayode Alabi were both at the State Stadium on Thursday to see Kwara United record a 3-0 win against Katsina United to finish the 2020/2021 League season in third place which automatically earns them a CAF Confederations Cup Slot.
