After the Super Eagles 10-nil thrashing of Sao Tome and Principe in the 2023 Totalenergies African cup of Nations qualifiers on Monday in Morocco, The Super Eagles head coach Jose Peseiro has today (Saturday) June 18, 2022, arrived Ilorin, Kwara State and was received by Kwara United chairman Kumbi Titiloye.
The Portuguese gaffer who arrived with one of assistant will see Kwara United’s Nigeria Professional football league (NPFL) Matchday 34 clash against Sunshine Stars on Sunday at the Kwara State Stadium Complex Ilorin.
Kwara United’s Chairman Kumbi Titiloye said Peseiro’s arrival is part of the initiative from club’s management to promote the team and aswell give the coach an avenue to have an insight on some of the NPFL Stars that will be on parade.
The last Super Eagles coach to attend Kwara United’s match in Ilorin was former coach and NFF Technical director Augustine Eguavoen, who was live in the stands in the match involving Kwara United and Lobi Stars earlier in February.
