Kwara United Player Undergoes Successful Surgery

Kwara United winger Abdulsalam Abdulsalam has undergone successful surgery at the General Hospital Ilorin after sustaining an injury in his team last match.

Abdulsalam had a fracture last Sunday in Ilorin against Wikki Tourists in which he was rushed to the hospital after playing only two minutes.

His injury brought serious tension and panic to his teammates, opponents and fans in the wake of the previous week incident of Chineme Martins of Nassaarawa United who slumped and died during an NPFL match.

Consequently,After a first aid efforts, he was scheduled to be operated on Thursday which was successful to the delight of everyone.

The Management of the Kwara United led by its chairman Kumbi Titiloye being accompanied by GM Bashir Badawiy and Secretary Hamidu Olowo were all in happy mood when they visited Abdulsalam on Friday after his operation.

“We are happy that he had a smooth surgery and we hope that he recuperate fast for him to start training,” Bashir Badawiy said in the hospital.

Meanwhile, Kwara United are hopeful of leaving the drop zone when the League resumes with two home games against Nasarawa United and Kano Pillars.
