Kwara United Football Club has bolstered its squad with 18 new signings ahead of the 2025/26 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season.
The new arrivals include 7 attackers, 4 midfielders, 5 defenders, and 2 goalkeepers, all recruited to give the Harmony Boys a stronger competitive edge in the upcoming campaign.
Speaking during the unveiling ceremony, Club Chairman Mr. Kumbi Titiloye, represented by General Manager Bashir Badawiy, commended the unwavering support of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq and the Kwara State Sports Commission, stressing that the team is “battle ready for the task ahead.”
Badawiy revealed that 13 players departed the team on mutual consent without financial obligations, while 14 were retained and 18 fresh additions secured. He noted that the club focused on recruiting quality players to strengthen every department of the squad.
While reiterating the NPFL’s zero tolerance for betting and misconduct, Badawiy assured that Kwara United players are fully aware of the penalties and committed to upholding the league’s ethics. He also expressed gratitude to stakeholders and appealed for sustained support.
