After crashing out of the Adegboye Onigbinde U-17 football competition, the La Planet Sports Academia boys will now be rolling up their sleeves for challenge as the Kwara Youth League resume on Friday, November 5, after the mid season break.

Currently occupying the third position on the log of NFCA Kwara U-17 Youth League with 31 points, the team is poised to make the best out of the league.

Speaking exclusively to www.owosports.com.ng, Coach Sheriff Jimoh says the team will make the top cut with the new set of players recruited into the team.

“We just want to begin from where we ended in the first stanza- and with the new players we just got in the second round, we hope to improve our playing and scoring ability in the team” says Coach Jimoh

While stating that his lads are ready for the game ,he noted the level of enthusiasm and commitment from the boys will serve them well going into the challenge, adding that ‘the players are  learning fast and are improving seriously”.

The gaffer recalled the reason why the team crashed out in the Onigbinde tournament:
“The reason why we crashed out in the competition is that three of our goalkeepers were screened out and we had to convert one of the players to man the goalposts which proved difficult for us in the competition”

La Planet will be squaring up at home against Koller FA later on Friday and the ‘place pour de legends’ boys are ready to begin the chase on a convincing note.
