Newly crowned English Premier League Champions Liverpool look set to capture the signature of Lille’s striker Victor Osimhen from Napoli.
According to report from Sport Italia, Liverpool could get a chance to sign Napoli reported transfer target Victor Osimhen in the upcoming transfer window after the Lille striker recently switched agents.
The 21-year-old who was close to sealing a move to Napoli after a £73 million deal was agreed for him to move to the Stadio San Paolo.
However, the former sporting Charleroi striker recently changed his representative and that has since led to a breakdown between his representative and the Neapolitan club, reports claims that
Osimhen’s new agent is supposedly trying to arrange a move to the Premier League for his client, having already held talks with Liverpool and Manchester United.
According to a reliable source: “The new agent of Osimhen has shuffled the cards, he spoke with Liverpool and Manchester United. More with Liverpool. And he asked Napoli for the time that he wanted/wants to close the deal and that he never planned any visits.
The Nigerian International enjoyed a sensational debut season at Lille, scoring 18 goals in 38 appearances across all competitions before the campaign was called off due to the coronavirus pandemic.
