Striker Junior Lokosa has parted ways with Kwara United after just five months with the club, he is now expected to sign the dotted line with an unnamed club in the Libyan top-flight League, www.owosports.com.ng can reports.
The 26-year-old joined Kwara United in October 2021 as a free agent after being released by the Tanzania giant Simba FC early in the year 2021.
The former Kano Pillars striker scored just two goals in eight appearances for The Harmony Boys in the ongoing Nigeria professional football league season (NPFL), with his first goal coming on the opening day against Dakkada International and his second against Gombe United after a long drought.
Lokosa in 2019 emerge as the winner of Eunisell Boot Award after scoring 19 goals for Kano Pillars to emerge top of the NPFL scoring charts which earned him a Whooping N3.8 million naira.
The one cap Super Eagles striker, began his career with First Bank football club of Lagos before moving to Kano Pillars in May 2017 from where he joined Tunisia club side Espérance Sportive de Tunis in 2019 on a two-and-a-half-year contract after a successful stint with Kano Pillars.
