Nigerian International Ademola lookman was in action for his Italian side Atalanta while his countryman Ola Aina was missing in action as top-flight football returned to Italy.
The 25 years old Lookman has been impressive for his club in the league this season scoring 7 goals before the league went on break for World Cup in Qatar.
The former Everton player could not add to his tally in the match and was replaced in the 52nd minute of the match.
Two goals from Emmanuel Gyasi and M’bala Nzola have given the home side Spezia a two-goal lead before Atalanta fought back to salvage a draw in stoppage time through Mario Pasalic.
His fellow countryman Ola Aina was missing in action for Torino through an injury as the Turin-based club could only pick a point at home to Hellas Verona.
Atalanta are 7th on the log with 28 points and another away fixture at Bologna comes next on the 9th of January 2023.
