Magate Go Three Games Unbeaten, Crush Wilson FC 4-1

Following an impressive display in their first two pre-season friendlies, Nation-Wide League One side, Magate FC picked up on a winning momentum from where they stopped as they beat Wilson Int’l Fc 4-1 in a tune up game played today at Supreme Distilleries field, Iju-Ota, Ogun State.

The NLO side started brightly as Francis Irivbemi gave them a deserved lead seven Minutes into the game off an sssist from Emmanuel Ogbodo.

Wilson int’l FC grew into the game in search for an equaliser, but Magate FC was compact defending with great tenacity.

There was no more goals to report in the well contested first halt as Irivbemi early goal made the difference at half-time.

Eight minutes after the break Emmanuel Ogbodo got a goal for himself to put his side two nil up after assisting Francis’s opener earlier in the game.

Seun Adepoju made mater worse for Wilson Int’l Fc as he increased the goal tally after he converted from the spot in the 51st minute after the academy side goalkeeper was naive as he fouled Sulaimon inside the penalty box.

Dera Boas put the icing on the cake with a solo finish after connecting Gbolahan Adejumo’s pass in the 85th minute.

Wale Samson with a late consolation for Wilson Int’l FC on the stroke of 90 minutes via spot kick.

Magate FC have now won three consecutive pre-season games scoring 10 goals conceding 3 in the process.

Seun Adepoju is giving Magate some sort of glimmer going into the new season, as he has scored in every match he has featured in scoring 4 goals in all.
