Nigeria’s Magic Stars Football Club will take on Italian Serie C U-19 side Vis Pesaro in the round of 16 of the 75th Viareggio Cup, currently underway in Italy.
Magic Stars, who have impressed with three wins from three games, emerged as leaders of Group C and will face Vis Pesaro, who progressed as one of the best losers from Group D with two draws.
The Nigerian side has demonstrated solidity in defense and prolificacy in front of goal, scoring nine goals and conceding just one. In contrast, Vis Pesaro has conceded six goals and scored four in three games.
While the statistics favor Magic Stars, they will need to deliver a top-notch performance to secure the win. The match will take place at the Marco Polo Sports Center in Viareggio, Italy on Tuesday, March 25th, 2025, with kickoff scheduled for 2:30 pm.
