Manchester United are reportedly interested in the signature of Super Eagles and Leicester City’s central midfielder Wilfried Ndidi, Owosports.com.ng reports.
With the increasing doubts and criticism on Brazilian Fred, it is no surprise to find United getting linked with the Nigerian who has been ever impressive for the Foxes since moving to England in 2016.
According to the Manchester Evening News, United’s first midfield choice target is AS Monaco’s Aurelien Tchouameni, but should the deal not materialise, Ndidi is a plan B.
“Manchester United are considering a move for Leicester City midfielder Wilfried Ndidi as they seek to rejuvenate their midfield, reports suggest,” the outlet reported.
The Red devila will have to cough out huge sum to get the midfielder who recently signed a six-year deal with the Foxes that will run until 2024.
