Remo Stars advance to the Semifinals of the 2021 Dapo Abiodun Preseason tournament after beating Niger Tornadoes 1-0 on Matchday four.
Andy Okpe continued with his impressive form for Remo Stars, as his 39th minute header was the only goal in their final group game.
Ottasolo FC got their first point of the tournament after holding Sunshine Stars to a 1-1 draw in Group B.
It was a game of two halves, as Ottasolo FC started strongly in the first half and went ahead in the 8th minute after Samuel Ogunjimi put a lob shot past Salaudeen Abdulsalam in goal.
Sunshine Stars restored parity in the 60th minute, after Patrick Osike put a lovely pass to Pius Ojo and he wasted no time in slotting the ball home.
Ijebu United and Shooting Stars share spoils in thrilling draw, but the one point on Matchday four was enough for Oluyole Warriors to claim a spot in the 2021 Dapo Abiodun Preseason tourney semifinals.

Niger Tornadoes coach, Abubakar Bala heaped praises on the organizers of Dapo Abiodun Preseason tournament after their game against Remo Stars on Friday.
“The organization of the tournament is top-notch, the organizers have done a great job. We signed a lot of new players and this is a work in progress for the team, we have been able to assess the new players and our process will take a different shift.
“We want to compete in the NPFL, put in our best work and finish in a decent position. The work has started and this tournament has put us on the right path of building a squad that can compete for honours in the top flight.” Bala said.
