Striker Victor Mbaoma who scored on his Enyimba Int’l debut against TS Galaxy in Aba during CAF Confederation Cup disclosed they are ready for battle in South Africa.
The People’s elephant beat visiting South Africa Nedbank champions 2-0 in Aba last Sunday, during 1st leg of CAF Confederation Cup playoff.
Mbaoma, former Remo Stars captain in a chat with OwoSports.com said he felt so elated scoring on his debut and to crown with victory makes it a memorable one for him and his Enyimba teammates.
“I felt happy scoring on my debut and the victory made it a memorable one for us and it’s not over yet we need rap it up in South Africa for the joy to be completed.
He continued as he shed more light on the Aba Elephants preparation for the 2nd leg at the Mbombela Stadium in Nelspruit on Sunday.
“We are preparing in a hard way to get the needed result in Nelspruit, because they gave us a good fight in Aba, so we just have to rap up the game to qualify for group stage.
“I’m positive about us qualifying for group stage, I know it’s possible.
“All we just need to do on the match day is total concentration and avoid conceding,” he submitted.
