Meet Kwara United New Left Back Augustine Barine

Kwara United football club have been one of the most busiest club in the current Nigeria transfer window as they’ve been in the market looking to booster their squad ahead of their CAF confederation cup engagement.

Some of the new arrivals at the club this summer includes, Anthony Omaka from Enyimba FC, Tamara Ezekiel from Kano Pillars, Ibrahim Mohammed from ABS Ilorin FC, Wasiu Alalade from Shooting Stars, Wasiu Jimoh from Plateau United, Adeyinka Adewale from Akwa United, Owolabi Aremu from Kebbi United, Adebayo Abiodun from Niger Tornadoes and the likes.

Though not on the spotlight Augustine Barine a left back who arrived the club from Yobo FC will look to continue his development and aswell give competition to Muritala Lawal on the left wing back of the Kwara United defense.

Augustine Barine from Ogoni in Khana local Government Area of Rivers State, he began his career with PortHarcourt City Academy before he joined NLO side Yobo FC in 2018.

Barine has been a faithful servant having spent four years with Yobo FC and was made the captain in 2020.

Augustine Barine is technically gifted, full with pace and power and can also be prolific in front of goal.
