Head coach of Kwara United Football Club Mohammed Azeez is satisfied with the progression of his team so far in their preseason engagement in Ikene Ogun state.
The Harmony Boys having drew their first two games against Ottasolo FC and Rivers United in the ongoing Value Jet preseason tourney showed class as they defeated Gateway FC by goals to nil in their third game played on Monday afternoon at thanks to a brace from striker Wasiu Jimoh.
Coach Mohammed Azeez speaking after the game expressed satisfaction towards the response and progression from his team but maintained that they are still not where he want them to be.
“We are still working on blending the team and I really like the response of the players and progress but we are not there yet”, He said.
Kwara United are top of Group B with five points from three matches played so far at the Value Jet preseason tourney and will next take on Smart City FC of Lagos.
