Crown FC has secured the signature of the midfield maestro, Olawale Isiaka ahead of the new NNL season, owosport.com.ng can reports.
Olawale who last played for El-kanemi Warriors of Maiduguri was spotted on Thursday morning in a friendly match involving Crown FC and ABS Ilorin FC at the Kwara State Stadium Complex.
In a chat with owosport.com.ng,the Nigeria Beach Soccer captain confirmed that he has joined the Ogbomoso based side after terminating his contract with Elkanemi Warriors at the end of last season.
The former, Lobi Stars, Kwara United and Dolphins FC talisman believes that his experience would help the team in their quest to gain promotion to NPFL.
“I am going to play for them in this coming season, and I believe my experience will really help the team, the Beach Soccer Nations cup winner said.
He added that the choice of Crown FC was also influenced by the need to be more closer to his family who live in Ilorin, the capital City of Kwara State.
Speaking on the reason why he parted ways with Elkanemi, Olawale said: “Nothing! , I think I have tried for them so I need to move on and be close to my family a little”.
Coach Waheed Bello, the Chief Coach of Crown FC acknowledged the expedient of Isiaka’s experience to the team’s bid to get a promotion ticket.

In what looks like a good start for Olawale, Crown FC won the friendly match against ABS Ilorin FC by 2-0.
Crown FC will be making use of LAUTECH University Playing field as their home ground for the upcoming NNL season billed to commence on 30th of January pending the time Oyo State government completes the renovation of Soun Stadium.
