In the lead-up to their Nigeria National U-19 Youth League week seven match, Abubakar Bukola Saraki Football Club (ABS Ilorin FC) U-19 team captain, Hannafi Babatunde, has expressed his confidence in his team’s ability to give Kwara United a run for their money.
The highly anticipated clash is set to take place on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, at the Kwara State Stadium Complex Ilorin.
“We know Kwara United will be tough, but we’re ready to give them a fight,” Babatunde stated. “We’ve been preparing well, and our team spirit is high. We’re looking forward to a positive outcome.”
ABS Ilorin FC will be looking to consolidate on the 3-1 victory over Kano Pillars last Fiday, a result that took them up the ladder with eight points from five games. With two wins, two draws and one defeat.
Captain Hannafi Babatunde remains a regular in coach Toafeeq Babatunde’s team having featured in all of the team’s previous matches and would be looking to lead the Boys out from the tunnel when they face the The Harmony Boys U-19 team on Tuesday.
