Kwara Falcons progress to the finals of the Nigeria Basketball Federation Men’s Premier League Final Eight after brushing aside Benue Braves 83 – 59 in a one sided contest.
Tolani Buhari led all scorers with 19pts, 8 rebounds and 4 assists followed by Ezekiel Adeyanju with 17 points and 7 rebounds.
The trio of JKareem, Samuel Dada and Victor Mohammed contributed 16, 15 and 10 points respectively.
Benue Braves took the opening quarter 17 – 11 but Falcons took a two point lead (36 – 34) going into halftime before widening the gap 63 – 46 and eventually wrap up the game with 24 point difference.
Falcons will attempt to pick a Basket Africa League (BAL) ticket when they face Nigeria Custom on Saturday by 4:00pm.
