Patigi Local Government in Kwara State went agog as the 3rd Round of the Nigeria Beach Soccer League took center stage at the Ahman Pategi University with some shocking results on the Match Day 1.
Edo HCF Beach Soccer Club defeated Igbogbo Beach Soccer Club and Smart City Beach Soccer Club ended Kada Beach Soccer Club’s unbeaten run.
In the first game of the day, Kwara Beach Soccer Club walked over Anambra Beach soccer club before Kebbi Beach Soccer crushed Badagry Beach Soccer club 8 goals to 3 to consolidate their place in the Super 4 final next month in Kaduna as the Group Leaders in Group A.
Group B saw a shocking results as Smart City Beach Soccer club of Lagos defeated Kada Beach Soccer club 4-1 on Penalties after fighting hard in the Regulation and Extra time to 6 goals apiece, while Edo HCF Beach Soccer Club defeated Igbogbo Beach Soccer club by 5-4 at Extra time to pick their first win of the NBSL.
As it stands, Kebbi Beach Soccer club has 18 Points closely followed by Kwara Beach Club with 12 points, Badagry sit 3rd with 9 points with Anambra having 3 points at the bottom of Group A, while in Group B, Kada Beach Soccer has 18 points, Smart City with 10 points, Igbogbo Beach Soccer with 8 points while Edo HCF Beach soccer club has 2 points.
