NFF declares Peseiro Super Eagles job vacant, Golden Eaglets too

It has been confirmed that Jose Peseiro, the current head coach of the Super Eagles, will not be retaining his position, reports OwoSports.com.ng

Speculations about him continuing as head coach with an improved deal from the Nigeria Football Federation have been put to rest.
His job, along with that of the Golden Eaglets, has been declared vacant. This announcement was made following disagreements over Peseiro’s new pay as head coach.
The NFF has put up an advert for the vacant Eagles job and the National U-17 Men Team (Golden Eaglets). The latter was last handled by Nduka Ugbade.
The advert has two vacancies:
Vacancy 1: Head Coach of the Senior Men’s National Team (Super Eagles)
The Nigeria Football Federation is looking for a passionate and experienced football coach to lead the national team. The requirements include relevant coaching qualifications, proven experience at an elite level of football management, a successful track record of leading teams, and knowledge of African football. Applications must be sent via email or links before 6 pm on Tuesday, 12 March 2024.
Vacancy 2: Head Coach of the U-17 Boys National Team (Golden Eaglets)
The Golden Eaglets, Nigeria’s U-17 Boys National Team, are seeking experienced coaching to nurture young talent and guide them to success on the international stage. The requirements include adequate experience in developing and coaching youth football, the ability to motivate and help players improve, and possession of a CAF license B Coaching Certificate. Applications must be sent via email or links before 6 pm on Tuesday, 12 March 2024.
