Ekiti State Football Association Chairman Bayo-Lanlege Kehinde has thrown his weight behind Lagos State FA Chairman Barrister Seyi Akinwunmi ahead of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) elections describing him as the most qualified amongst other candidates.
The Football administrator in an interview with journalist on a WhatsApp platform Sports Connect on Saturday night said the NFF first vice president is a blessing to Nigeria adding that he has the capacity to turn the fortune of Nigeria football around.
“Barr. Seyi Akinwunmi is the best qualified amongst the lots , and in terms of experience, connections, network, pedigree and most importantly temperament”, He said.
“Barr. Akinwunmi is a blessing to our generation, his love for youth development is topnotch, he has the capacity to turn things around for good”, he added.
The NFF elections was scheduled to go down on September 30th in the ancient city Benin City Edo State, but with latest court ruling suspending the election date it’s left to be seen of the elections will go down as scheduled.
