Gernot Rohr has taken a swipe at his employers, Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) whom he said are embroiled with organizational problems and not keeping to promises.

Rohr’s contract is said to expire
in 2020 but the Franco-German is not keen to extend it for such reasons.

Rohr who’s yet to begin his refresher course with German Bundesliga giants, Bayern Munich told Mannheimer Morgen after he asked him if he was interested in renewing his contract.

“Yes and no. On the one hand, we have built a good team, the youngest on average in Africa.

”On the other hand, there are many things that make daily work difficult: lack of respect, organizational problems, promises are not kept. We will see how it goes on”.

The Franco-German confirmed that he received offers from four countries namely Morocco, Cameroon, Mali and Congo after the Africa Cup of Nations but opted to see out his contract with the Nigerian Federation.

“Yes. But I love this team and I really wanted to fulfill my contract”.

Rohr is expected to be on the dug-out for Nigeria when the Super Eagles lock horns against five-time World Cup champs, Brazil in an international friendly match in Singapore on October 13.
