The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has taken a giant stride towards improving the quality of refereeing in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL).
The President, Alhaji Ibrahim Gusau announced the procurement of advanced communication gadgets for referees in the upcoming season, aimed at reducing errors and enhancing accuracy.
These gadgets will facilitate real-time communication among referees, ensuring timely decisions and minimizing controversies.
Additionally, the NFF will collaborate with international partners to train referees on the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) system, further enhancing their skills and knowledge.
NPFL Chairman Hon. Gbenga Elegbeleye expressed optimism about the league’s growth, acknowledging room for improvement and committing to building on recent successes.
