All is now set for the draws of the 2021 Niger State Governor’s Football tournament to hold at Minna,the State Capital on Tuesday.
The annual event, which is going to be hosted by Bida local government is expected to feature all the 25 local governments areas of the state .
According to a statement by Adamu Osmond, the Private Personal Secretary to The Chairman Niger State Football Association (NSFA), Comrade Ahmed Yusuf Fresh on his facebook page, the Chairman has assured the participants of a hitch free tournament with top notch organisation.
“He further reiterate the objectives of the competition as to help develop the game from the grassroots, encourage youths participation in football and above all to honor the number one citizen in the State for his continuous support and encouragements towards youths emancipation”. Said Adamu.
Comrade Fresh, who also doubles as the Chairman of NFF Technical development committee appealed to the participating local governments to be disciplined and prepare adequately to make the tournament highly competitive.
He also ommended the administration of Governor Alhahi Abubakar Sani Bello for according sports the much needed support and encouragements to flourish.
The draws is scheduled for Tuesday 7th December 2021 at the conference Hall of the State Ministry of Youth and Sports Development in Minna.
