With the victory, South Africa go top of the log with 4⃣ points after their draw with Zambia on MatchDay 1 followed by Nigeria with 3⃣ points.
Ivory Coast are third in the order on 3⃣points followed by Zambia on a point.
Nigeria will face South Africa in their last group match for a place in the semi-finals.
The top three teams from the championship will represent Africa in the Tokyo Olympics men’s football event.
