Nigeria Is An Important Country For Our Project To  Further Promote Real Betis Brand – Suarez Coalla

Nigeria has been described as a crucial and strategic country as Spanish Laliga based club, Real Betis aimed at further promoting their brand.  

Real Betis International Business Developer, Alvaro Suarez Coalla disclosed this in an exclusive Skype interview with Laliga partners, Arewa radio Kano on Friday.

The Betis top official added the club is working assiduously on a project to expand the club brand in terms of talent developing and marketing across the globe and Nigeria is among the few privileged nations. 

“Nigeria is among the few privileged countries in the world we are looking at in terms of talent developing and marketing.”

“The country is blessed with abundant talents; I have stayed in Lagos for almost 2 years before moving back to Spain and what I saw in Nigeria is amazing young talented footballers who can be become world beaters if nurtured  properly.”

He further stressed the club has a strong relationship with Nigeria right from the days of former Nigerian international, Finidi George as a Real Betis player. 

“We have a very strong ties with Nigeria rolling back the years of Finidi George, Victor Ikpeba albeit he Ikpeba spent just a season with us but he’s a very popular figure till date.”

“Of recent, Nosa Igiebor was with us and now we have Lukman Zakari Halilu who is with our B team.” 

“With all these, it is obvious Nigeria has a lot quality in football and we hope to work with the  country for mutual benefit.”

“Nigeria is a football nation and one of the most powerful and respected countries in world football.” 

Meanwhile, Real Betis take aim at  Sevilla FC in the El-Gran derby on the 11th of June as Spanish Laliga resumes after three months of inaction following the outbreak of Coronavirus pandemic. 

Last week, the Spanish authorities gave the greenlight for league games to resume after a successful meeting with relevant stakeholders including health workers.
