Nigerian Duo Leads Leicester City’s Return to the English Premier League 




Leicester City Football Club has secured promotion back to the English Premier League (EPL) thanks to the outstanding performances of Nigerian duo Kelechi Iheanacho and Wilfred Ndidi, reports.




The Foxes’ successful campaign in the Championship was capped off when Leeds United’s defeat to Queens Park Rangers confirmed their promotion.



The 4-0 defeat at Loftus Road means Daniel Farke’s side stay four points behind Championship leaders Leicester with one game left.



Nigerian striker Kelechi Iheanacho, 26, contributed five goals and one assist in 22 appearances, while compatriots Wilfred Ndidi who has been the engine room of the team, providing defensive cover. His work rate have allowed Leicester City to control games and dictate the tempo. He had nine goal contributions, netting four goals and registering five assists.
