Nigeria’s Beach Soccer National Team, the Sand Eagles, Returns to Action

After a self-imposed exile from the sport, the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has revived the Sand Eagles, and they are set to face Mauritania in the 2024 Beach Soccer Africa Cup of Nations (BSAFCON) qualifiers.

The draws for the qualifiers were conducted, and Nigeria was paired against Mauritania in a two-legged tie. The first leg is scheduled to take place between July 19-21, 2024, while the second leg will be played between July 26-28, 2024.
