Abraysports FC have picked the sole playoffs tickets from the IlorinĀ after a convincing 3-1 victory over Dohz FC in a thrilling encounter, owosports.com.ng report.
The win was secured through goals from Olatunji Subomi (48′ penalty), Ogungbenro Mustapha (53′), and Hameed Mubarak (71′). Abolade Ibrahim scored a consolation goal for Dohz FC in the 86th minute from the spot.
The match was a must-win for Abraysports FC, and they rose to the challenge with a dominant performance. They took the lead in the 48th minute through a penalty kick expertly converted by Olatunji Subomi. Ogungbenro Mustapha doubled the lead in the 53rd minute with a brilliant strike, and Hameed Mubarak put the game beyond doubt with a sublime finish in the 71st minute.
Dohz FC pulled one back in the 86th minute through a penalty kick by Abolade Ibrahim, but it was too little, too late. Abraysports FC ran out 3-1 winners, securing their spot in the Ilorin Playoffs.
In another match, Barrier FC defeated Na Royal FC 2-1 to finish second in the standings. Both Abraysports FC and Barrier FC ended with the same number of points, but Abraysports FC took the top spot with a superior goal difference.
With this win, Abraysports FC has confirmed their participation in the Ilorin Playoffs, where they will face the top team from Osogbo centre in Ibadan.
