Ahead of the new National League One (NLO) Division Two season, Kwara-based La Planet Sports Academia has now unveiled new set of jerseys to prosecute the league.
The unveiling, which signals a strong indication of the team’s readiness for the new season was done amid thrills and cheers from the Players.
Speaking of behalf of the management at the unveiling event which held at the Kwara State Stadium Complex, Aghali Ayinla noted that the management will continue to raise the standard of the team and will leave no stone unturned in its quest to create more opportunities for the Players.
“From all indications, we are ready for the NLO 2 division league. The boys are in high spirit and I can tell you that we will take the campaign by storm”said Aghali
He however urged the Players to justify the confidence reposed in them by putting up a good performance in the league proper.
In his own remarks, the Technical Adviser of the team, Coach Sheriff Jimoh enjoined the Players to see the opportunity of participating in the league as a progress for their careers.
While the team awaits the NLO to announce its match centre, the league has been billed to hold across NLO designated centers around the Country from May 22-28.
The football outfit is reputed for winning one of the most prominent pre-season tournaments in the country, Amapro football championship in 2020.
In 2021, the Academy won Kwara State Football Association Super League, AGF Abdulrazaq Cup and YSFON U-17 football competiton.
While one of its product, Abdulgafar Opeyemi is currently plying his trade with FK Kauno Zalgris, a Liuthania based elite league side, another graduate of the Academy, Abdulganiyu Suleiman is currently plying his trade with ABS Ilorin FC.
