SGFC Athletics Sports Club will battle Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) Team B in the Nationwide League One (Division One) (NLO) first playoffs.
The Eagles finished tops of Group C2B Kwara State Center following a 2-1 win over Laycon FC in the final group match decided on Thursday at the Uni-Ilorin Sports Complex.
SGFC Athletics picked the group’ sole ticket after finishing with 11 points ahead of close challengers Offa FC and Barrier FC who had eight points respectively. Having won three games and two draws from five matches.
The Eagles will now face Oluyole Warriors Team B who came tops in Group C2A with 12 points and a better goal difference to pip Ilaji FC who had same number of points.
The game earlier scheduled to go down on Saturday 18th May, has now been shifted to Sunday, 19th May 2023 at the Osogbo Township Stadium in Osun State.
