The Technical Adviser of Ijebu United, Coach Alfred Dipo Bolarinwa is optimistic of another maximum points in their NNL match week 4 game against Sporting Lagos City FC.
Ijebu United defeated Ottasolo FC of Lagos 1 nil in their last game, and are currently the leader of the Group B 1 of the NNL southern conference with Seven points from three games.
Speaking exclusively to www.owosports.com.ng, the Tactician said that the team will continue to maintain its impressive form which has earned them the top position of their group.
“It’s a wonderful beginning of the season for us. We did well in our first three games and we want to continue in that form when we play against Sporting City Lagos FC”
He noted the ‘synergy’ amongst the players, management and technical crew as the driving force of the Club in its ultimate quest to secure the NPFL promotion ticket.
“The team has been able to achieve the feat because of the understanding. The boys are listening to instructions and are applying it to the details-The management have been so supportive and it has been helping us alot” he said.
Coach Dipo noted that the team, who will not put in efforts short of standard in the game will leverage on the fact that Lagos has always been a “neutral ground’ to approach the encounter against their opponents .
“We are going all out to win by the grace of God; because Lagos is a neutral ground for everyone that knows how to play football. When you get to Lagos and play good football, the fans will get your back no matter where you come from so that’s what we tend to plan in Lagos”
“We will go there – play good football against them and win the game by the grace of God we ” he concluded.
The match day 4 encounter between Ijebu United and Sporting Lagos City FC is billed for Teslim Balogun Stadium in Lagos on Sunday at 1pm.
