Head Coach of ABS Ilorin FC Jerome Igbankwe is optimistic of getting the maximum points when his side file out against Mailantarki Care FC in their Nigeria National League (NNL) opener on Thursday.
The Ilorin based side will take on Mailantarki Care FC on Thursday at the Soun Stadium in Ogbomoso.
Speaking to www.owosports.com.ng ahead of the game on Wednesday, Coach Jerome Igbankwe revealed that he is expecting nothing less than a victory in today’s game adding that they’ve made the right recruitment that would propel the club to victory.
“We are expecting victory with the kind of players we have in the team. Very young players who are also talented, so we are expecting nothing more than victory tomorrow”, He said.
Speaking on playing away from home and how they will be able to adapt to their new home ground, the gaffer said they’ve been to Ogbomoso to play some couple of matches just to get familiar with the environment.
“We’ve been to Ogbomoso to play Crown FC and some other teams just to get familiar with the terrain and besides that I have prepared the mind of players, I told them all games would be away”, He added.
