Delta State based football outfit, Apex Krane FC has appointed Coach Salihu Yusuf as the new Technical Adviser of the club.
The former Technical Assistant to Coach Kabiru Dogo at Sunshine Stars FC joined the club
following the sack of Coach David Ochei and Paul Offor.
As the former Technical Adviser of FC Yarmalight Gombe, Salihu promoted the team from Nationwide League One(NLO) to NNL in his first season in charge of the club in 2018.
The former Assistant Coach of ABS Ilorin FC who holds among many other coaching qualifications , CAF ‘B’ license joined his new club with loads of experience and a rich resumé.
A tactician cum disciplinarian, Scheedow as he is fondly called is an Ex- Nigeria Air force officer with a trajectory that has seen him through all three tiers league in the country (NLO, NNL and NPFL) since his foray into coaching.
With an immediate task to put the team on the right stead and gain promotion to the NPFL, another experienced gaffer, Taju Lamidi was appointed alongside Coach Salihu as the Head Coach of the Club.
In an exclusive chat with Sportspro News correspondent, Coach Salihu pledged his commitment and dedication to take the team to the highest level.
“We will do our best to take this club to the highest level. It’s indeed a new challenge, and we would make sure that the confidence that has been reposed in us is justified”. said the gaffer who resumed work on Wednesday.
With his recently acquired Pro Football management masterclass certificate and a refresher course in Ghana, Salihu, who once assisted Coach Samson Unuanel at Kwara United Feeders has demonstrated high sense of preparedness in taking up a new task.
