The Suleja based side defeated visiting Gombe United 1-0 in the rescheduled match day 12 played at the Goal Project pitch in Abuja on Tuesday.

After a goalless first half, Abdurazak Odeyemi broke the deadlock for the homeside in the 72nd minute to give the Niger State Ambassadors their third win of the season and ultimately ended the 11 match unbeaten streak of the Savannah Scorpions.

Coach Aliyu Zubair led side had won the first leg of the tie at the Pantami Stadium and seemed to be the favourites coming into the Federal Capital Territory.

Kenneth Okolie, the goalkeeper of the Suleja based side was a delight to watch as he saved the day for Oyah Sports in a bid to salvage their shrinking boat.

Oyah Sports with the win have now increased their points to 13 to move out of the red zone while Gombe United despite the loss still maintains their second spot on the log of the Group A1 of the Northern conference with 22 points.
