Gombe United Midfielder Samuel Oyedeji has set his sight on ensuring that that Gombe United picks up one of the four available promotion slots to the Nigeria top-flight football next season.
Gombe United finished the regular season on top of the NNL Northern Conference Group A1 with 37 points after they recorded 10 wins from 18 Matches, seven draws and suffered just one defeat.
They will be looking to continue their impressive run when Nigeria National League Super Eight kicks off in Enugu on Tuesday September 7.
“We are motivated for the huge task ahead of us, the Management and Technical Staff have given us enough motivation needed, and we are ready to do the talking on the pitch as we look forward to playing top-flight football next season.” Oyedeji said.
Gombe United will take on DMD, Niger Tornadoes And El- Kanemi Warriors at the Nmandi Azikiwe Stadium Enugu.
